This summer, the New York Giants will offer 22 noncontact football camps in 21 communities in the tri-state area. Each five-day camp runs Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Camps are available to kids ages 6-14.Kids learn to run, throw, catch, defend and compete the New York Giants way. All programs provide safe, noncontact football instruction, athletic skill development, life skills, fitness and agility training. All camps feature Giants Camp Heroes such as Bill Ard, Stephen Baker, Chris Calloway, Eric Dorsey, Sam Garnes, Rod Hampton, Terry Kinard, Curtis McGriff, Odessa Turner and Perry Williams.Through community-based programs, the Giants are making high-quality and safe football experiences available to both experienced players and newcomers. The camp cost is $459 with early registration discounts available. Monmouth University Lacrosse’s Kortney Rose Clinic will be held on Feb. 3 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Boylan Gym. Instruction will be led by Monmouth University players and coaching staff. Donations will go to the Kortney Rose Foundation, an organization dedicated to raising funds to support research and education related to the treatment and cure of pediatric brain tumors.
